A man was shot while standing next to an idling car in Philadelphia's Nicetown section, police say. It happened shortly after midnight Sunday on the 1600 block of West Luzerne Street. Police say the 24-year-old was shot four times.

Philadelphia police said one person was injured and another died after a tractor trailer overturned on northbound I-95. A tractor trailer carrying watermelons was driving northbound near the Broad Street exit when it overturned around 3 p.m. Saturday. The watermelons spilled onto the highway. Police said a car was hit by the watermelons.

A DJ at a Christian radio station in Lancaster County is facing rape charges. Lancaster police arrested 52-year-old Philip Smith of Lancaster on Thursday. They said he sexually assaulted a juvenile victim between 2013 and 2017.

Pennsylvania State Police started an investigation in Mercer County for a rape that happened between March 31 and April 1. Patrick Kearney, 30, of Mercer allegedly raped someone.

Authorities are searching for the driver of a car that plunged into the Neshaminy Creek early Sunday morning. Police received a call about the car around 2:45 a.m. A short time later, the Action Cam was on the scene of the 900 block of Haunted Lane in Bensalem as a tow truck pulled the vehicle from the creek.

A 27-year-old man was shot and killed after leaving his girlfriend's house Wednesday night in Homestead. The shooting happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. along East Park Way. Police said they initially found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds and rushed him to the hospital. He died early Thursday morning. The victim's name has not yet been released.
