A man is accused of fatally stabbing his father in the Philadelphia suburbs and taking out one of the 74-year-old victim's eyeballs. Montgomery County prosecutors allege 30-year-old Preston Lonnberg-Lane used a butter knife to stab Thomas Lane in the head, neck and arm in their Lansdale home on March 27.
Reading: A man was killed in a shooting early Tuesday morning. It happened just after 2 a.m. near Moss and Spring streets. Officials said a man was shot in the body and taken to Reading Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating an overnight shooting in the city of York. Around 11:40 p.m. Monday, officers were called to the 300 block of East Market Street. Upon arrival, officials found 19-year-old Jose Angel Aponte Aponte.
A man was shot in the back of the head at close range in the West Kensington section of Philadelphia, police said. It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday along the 2100 block of North Hancock Street. The 34-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A former central Pennsylvania university student who is accused of trying to abort his girlfriend’s pregnancy by putting bleach in her water has pleaded guilty. Twenty-one-year-old Theophilous Washington pleaded guilty Tuesday to attempted homicide of an unborn child. The Washington, D.C. resident had also been charged with attempted homicide of the woman and reckless endangerment. Lancaster County prosecutors say those charges will officially be dropped at sentencing.
King of Prussia: Upper Merion police shot a robbery suspect outside of the King of Prussia Mall Sunday afternoon. It happened around 4 p.m. outside of the Nordstrom side of the mall, near Gulph Road and Mall Boulevard. Police said the suspect was behind three armed robberies - one Saturday at the mall and two others in Delaware.

Lancaster: One man is in critical condition after a shooting in Lancaster City early Friday morning. According to police, they found a 31-year-old Lancaster man was found around 3:18 a.m. in the 300 block of South Marshall Street with a gun shot wound to his torso after a shooting. The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition.
