A man is accused of fatally stabbing his father in the Philadelphia suburbs and taking out one of the 74-year-old victim's eyeballs. Montgomery County prosecutors allege 30-year-old Preston Lonnberg-Lane used a butter knife to stab Thomas Lane in the head, neck and arm in their Lansdale home on March 27.
Philadelphia: One person was taken to a hospital after a two-alarm fire in the Germantown section. The fire started around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Manheim Street. Heavy fire was showing from the first floors of two twin homes when crews arrived.
Police in Pennsylvania have charged a man with selling drugs, including while on duty at Dunkin' Donuts. Authorities say Nathan Wade Pizzardi, 35, sold methamphetamine and heroin while working at his job. He is charged with two felonies regarding sales made in August and September.

A 16-year-old girl was taken to a hospital Sunday afternoon for a gunshot wound, police said. Officers responded at about 1:06 p.m. to West Front Street near Broad Street in the township for a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. There, officers found the girl inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound, authorities said.

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a truck stop in Luzerne County. Police said a man who claimed to have a gun robbed the Pilot truck stop along Route 315 in Pittston Township just before 4 a.m. Saturday.
Philadelphia: A 16-year-old boy was killed and a 12-year-old boy was injured after a gunman opened fire on a group sitting on a porch in North Philadelphia. It happened shortly after midnight Sunday on the 2700 block of North 19th Street. The 16-year-old boy was shot in the chest and neck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Philadelphia: An investigation is underway after two people were found shot to death inside an SUV in the Port Richmond. It happened around 10 p.m. Thursday in the 3500 block of Amber Street. Officers arrived to find two shooting victims inside a Honda SUV: a woman in the driver's seat and a man in the front passenger's seat.
Pittsburgh: An East Liberty man has been arrested in the 2016 shooting death of a 56-year-old man. Ernest Hardman, 26, is charged with criminal homicide in the death of Reginald Shelton
Two years after a woman was shot to death while walking to her car in Williamsport, a man has been found guilty of third-degree murder. Knowledge Frierson from New Jersey shot Carolyn Barr in October of 2015 outside her nephew's home on Brandon Avenue.

Strawberry Mansion: Action News has learned that one of two men shot in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia has died. The gunfire erupted at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of West Harold Street. Officers arrived to find one man shot in the torso and another in the leg.

A former central Pennsylvania university student who is accused of trying to abort his girlfriend’s pregnancy by putting bleach in her water has pleaded guilty. Twenty-one-year-old Theophilous Washington pleaded guilty Tuesday to attempted homicide of an unborn child. The Washington, D.C. resident had also been charged with attempted homicide of the woman and reckless endangerment. Lancaster County prosecutors say those charges will officially be dropped at sentencing.
King of Prussia: Upper Merion police shot a robbery suspect outside of the King of Prussia Mall Sunday afternoon. It happened around 4 p.m. outside of the Nordstrom side of the mall, near Gulph Road and Mall Boulevard. Police said the suspect was behind three armed robberies - one Saturday at the mall and two others in Delaware.
