A man is accused of fatally stabbing his father in the Philadelphia suburbs and taking out one of the 74-year-old victim's eyeballs. Montgomery County prosecutors allege 30-year-old Preston Lonnberg-Lane used a butter knife to stab Thomas Lane in the head, neck and arm in their Lansdale home on March 27.
West Chester: A multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in West Chester Twp. resulted in a fatality and left several people with serious injuries. Township spokeswoman Barb Wilson said the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. at the busy intersection of Cox Road and Liberty Way.

Bristol Township: Police said two drivers on I-95 were involved in a road rage incident that ended in gunfire Monday evening. It happened just before 5 p.m., while the two cars were exiting the highway onto Route 413 in Bristol Township
Youngwood: State police on Monday confirmed that they were investigating a homicide in Youngwood, Westmoreland County, but very few details were released. Matthew Genaro, 50, was found dead at a home on Wineman Lane at about 10 p.m. Friday, according to a police statement.
Parks Township: Investigators are searching for a gunman after a man and woman were fatally shot inside a home in Armstrong County on Monday afternoon. Their bodies were discovered around 3:30 p.m. at a home on the corner of West Fifth and Lincoln Streets, near the Uncle Charley’s Sausage Plant in Parks Township, right outside of Vandergrift.

Loyalsock Township: One person is dead after what appears to be a deadly shooting in Lycoming County. State police were called to Poco Farm Road near Williamsport around 7 p.m. Sunday.
York: A man lost his life Sunday in what police say started with a car crash, and the York County Coroner’s Office calls it a road rage shooting. It happened shortly after 4 p.m. at the intersection of E. Philadelphia and N. Pine Streets
