A Luzerne County man is behind bars accused of trying to kill a woman in Schuylkill County. It happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shenandoah Fish and Game Club. Police say Steven Brobst, 62, entered the club and shot a 51-year-old woman who was at the bar. Other patrons wrestled him to the ground and took his gun.
Philadelphia: police have made an arrest in the stabbing of a Port Richmond man. Patricia Diocson, 21, is charged with murder and possession of an instrument of crime after police said she stabbed her grandfather, 80-year-old Robert Girard, more than 40 times.
Stowe Township: Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting in Stowe Township. Allegheny County 911 was called at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday with a report of a shooting at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Mancini Way, according to the county.

Wilkins Township: A body was found in a creek near the 1000 block of Lougeay Road in Wilkins Township around 2 p.m. Monday, officials said. Emergency crews found an unresponsive man who was declared dead on the scene, officials said.
