A man has been taken to the hospital after being shot by police responding to a domestic dispute in Richland Township. According to police, officers were called to a home along Meridian Road around 6 a.m.
Reading police said this morning they are investigating the death of a 37-year-old man in a city alley as a homicide. Police were called Wednesday at noon to do a security check in an alley in the 1000 block of Chestnut Street where a man was reported to be on the ground.

Beidari is also charged with aggravated assault of an unborn child, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person. One person is dead after a Friday morning crash in Adams County. It happened around 3:30 a.m. along the 4200 block of Hanover Road in Mount Pleasant Township.
