A man is accused of fatally stabbing his father in the Philadelphia suburbs and taking out one of the 74-year-old victim's eyeballs. Montgomery County prosecutors allege 30-year-old Preston Lonnberg-Lane used a butter knife to stab Thomas Lane in the head, neck and arm in their Lansdale home on March 27.
Three teenage girls are facing felony criminal charges in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to a report by KDKA. They’re accused of purposely exposing their classmate to pineapple. Police say the girls knew their classmate was allergic to the fruit when one them brought the pineapple to school, rubbed it on her hand and deliberately high-fived the girl with the allergy.
A fast-moving fire has damaged a row house in North Philadelphia. The blaze broke out after 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 2700 block of North Ringgold Street. Firefighters arrived to find the flames confined to the interior of the home.
A man has been taken to the hospital after being shot by police responding to a domestic dispute in Richland Township. According to police, officers were called to a home along Meridian Road around 6 a.m.

Beidari is also charged with aggravated assault of an unborn child, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person. One person is dead after a Friday morning crash in Adams County. It happened around 3:30 a.m. along the 4200 block of Hanover Road in Mount Pleasant Township.
