Police officers from the Philadelphia Police Department’s 19th District responded to burglary on the 1200 block of Marlyn Road. A male suspect entered the property through a rear door. He threatened a 31-year-old female victim with a knife before stealing her cell phone. The suspect, described as a Black male wearing all black, fled the scene in a white Honda.
Police officers from the Philadelphia Police Department’s 2nd District responded to a person with a gun on the 1300 block of Hale Street.
A grey sedan was traveling south on C Street at Ruscomb Street when a 39-year-old woman entered the crosswalk, resulting in a collision. The vehicle fled southbound on C Street. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 12:19 a.m. The victim was identified as Sharmain Serrano. The Crash Investigation Division is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
The 18-year-old male suffered gunshot wound to the groin. He was later transported by ambulance to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. The shooting incident occurred on the 5000 block of Cottman Avenue. No scene was located and the suspect is unknown. The investigation is being led by the Shooting Investigation Group.
