2 year agoAllegheny Co. Fire Marshal on scene investigating a fire in the 600 block of Miller Ave in Clairton. Fire Marshal says the building was vacant for an extended period of time. No utilities were connected. No injuries reported.

2 year agoPittsburgh Police tell that the "shots fired" call from Nova Place on the North Side was all a big misunderstanding. A 3rd party received a text from a friend inside Nova Place. The text autocorrected from "Fire Alarm" to "Fire Arm" & that person called 9-11
2 year agoAllegheny County Sheriff's Office tells that any reports of gun shots are "unfounded" here at Nova Place. The sheriff's office is pulling its deputies from the scene and city police will remain

2 year agoLarge police presence outside Nova Place on the North Side. I talked to several people who work inside who said they were walking to lunch in the plaza and encountered police officers with weapons drawn and K9s who told them to leave the area immediately
2 year agoThere is a police presence at NovaPlace. Two people have told us they were inside the building & saw police run through with their guns drawn. Police then apparently told everyone leave the building
