On Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2:05 a.m., Philadelphia Police responded to a report of a person with a weapon, on the 29XX block of Kensington Avenue, in the 24th District. A 40-year-old black male suffered a stab wound to the right side of the abdomen. PFD-Medic Unit took him to Temple University Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
A 17-year-old black male suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg. Police took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was placed in stable condition. An additional crime scene was located on the 57XX block of Media Street. The male is being held as a prisoner, a weapon was recovered and the scene was secured. The investigation is active and ongoing with Shooting Investigation Group.

Philadelphia Police responded to a shooting on the 8XX block of East Allegheny Avenue in the 24th District. Victim #1: A 20-year-old black male suffered a gunshot wound to the right calf. Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. Victim #2: A 30-year-old black male suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and arm. He arrived at Temple University Hospital by private vehicle. He was placed in stable condition.
Philadelphia Police responded to a report for a person with a gun, on the 12XX block of Bridge Street, in the 15th District. Police located both victims inside a Honda CR-V. Victim #1: A 35-year-old Hispanic male suffered a gunshot wound to the neck. Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. Victim #2: A 31-year-old Hispanic female suffered a gunshot wound to the face. Police took her to Temple University Hospital, where she was placed in stable condition.
A 26-year-old black male suffered gunshot wounds to the shoulder and left thigh. He was placed in stable condition. The location of the incident is unknown at this time. No scene has been located, no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Man stabbed to death inside Pittsburgh apartment building
Police are investigating a fatal overnight stabbing that occurred on Colwell St. in the city's Crawford-Roberts neighborhood. An adult male victim with a stab wound to his chest was pronounced deceased at the scene by Pittsburgh EMS.
