Philadelphia Police responded to a report for a person with a gun, male shot, on the 22XX block of South 23rd Street, in the 1st District. The victim suffered the gunshot wound on the highway and ran into a house on the block. A 21-year-old black male was located inside the living room with a gunshot wound to his chest. Police transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 9:16 p.m. He was identified as As Saadiq Abdul-Aziz from the 16XX block of North Redfield Street.

Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old Black male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the right ankle. The officer transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.

Fatal Crash—600 Godfrey Avenue​. PHILADELPHIA – A 29-year-old Black male driver died early Sunday morning after a single-vehicle crash in the Northwest section of the city. At approximately 12:52 am, a green 2005 Mazda 6 traveling eastbound on the 600 block of Godfrey Avenue lost control and veered off the roadway, striking a tree. The driver, 29-year-old Karon Baron Montgomery of Philadelphia, was pronounced at the scene by PFD Medics at 1:05 am.
