Philadelphia Police responded to a shooting, on the 26XX block of North 27th Street, in the 22nd District. A male of unknown age suffered a gunshot wound to the head. PFD Medic Unit pronounced the male dead on the scene at 4:28 a.m. The scene was secured, no arrest at this time, and no weapon was recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Homicide Detectives.

A 26-year-old male was located lying on the highway with multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body. Police transported the victim to Temple University Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 10:40 a.m. The victim was later identified as Parris Hall.

Septa Police responded to an assault on Septa bus, on the 2XX block of North 3rd Street, in the 9th District. A 39-year-old male was involved in a verbal altercation with the offender on the bus. The offender used a box cutter; causing laceration to the victim left side of the head. PFD-Medic Unit transported the victim to Jefferson University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. The offender was arrested by police at 2nd and Wood Street.
