Philadelphia Police responded to a person with a gun on the 60XX block of Frontenac Street, in the 2nd District. A 26-year-old Hispanic male suffered a gunshot wound to his left thigh. Police transported the victim to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was placed in stable condition. The scene was secured. There was no weapon recovered, and no arrest at this time.

Police transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition. The scene was secured. A weapon was recovered, and an arrest was made.

Scene tonight in the area of Cottman and the boulevard as an apartment fire raged out of control for almost 3 hours. The fire reached 4 alarms. Early reports are that everyone was able to get out unharmed and before the fire got to the magnitude you see here
