28XX block of Kensington Avenue, in the 24th District. A 31-year-old male sustained lacerations to the left elbow, right hand, left side of the chest, and forehead. He was transported by ambulance to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. No crime scene was found, no weapon was recovered, and no arrests were made. The investigation is active and ongoing with East Detectives Division.
Philadelphia Police responded for a person with a gun on the 39XX block of Kensington Avenue, in the 24th District. A 29-year-old male suffered gunshot wounds to the head and right thigh. PFD Medic Unit transported the male to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in extremely critical condition. The scene was secured; no arrest were made at this time, and no weapon was recovered. The Shooting Investigation Group is handling the investigation.
A 22-year-old Black male was struck multiple times in the head and torso. He was transported to Einstein Hospital by police where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 5:43 PM. The scene remains held, and no weapons have been recovered, nor have any apprehensions been made at this time.
