a year ago homicide occurred on 9/22 at 5900 Stenton Avenue on the highway at 11:38 PM. A Black male in his mid-20s, currently identified as "John Doe," was shot once in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:46 PM by Medic 33. The scene was held for further investigation, with no arrests made and no weapons recovered.
a year ago Shooting occurred at the intersection of North 13th Street and West Lycoming Street on the highway this morning 9/23, at 8:09 AM. A 38-year-old male was shot once in the left side of the head. He was transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle and is currently in stable condition. The scene is being held for investigation, with no weapons recovered and no arrests made at this time.

Upon arrival, they discovered a victim on the roadway, suffering from three gunshot wounds to the chest. Medic 33 pronounced the victim deceased at the scene at 11:46 p.m. The victim has since been identified as 16-year-old William Honesty, from the 21xx block of Homer Street.
