Officers responded to a shooting on the 2400 block of West Oakdale Street around 12:21 a.m. The victim was shot once in the left shoulder and transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.

The shooting occurred on the 700 block of Montrose Street at approximately 12:13 a.m. A 17-year-old Hispanic male was shot once in the right ring finger, and a 15-year-old Hispanic male sustained a graze wound to the right forearm. Both victims were transported by private vehicles to Methodist Hospital and placed in stable condition.

5 months ago A 70-year-old man died in a house fire late Saturday night in North Philadelphia.
Police and fire crews responded to a 911 call reporting a fire at 16xx Fontain Street at approximately 10:43 p.m. The Philadelphia Fire Department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire by 11:08 p.m. Upon extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered the body of a 70-year-old Black male inside the residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:10 p.m.
