7 months agoPhiladelphia Police were flagged down by civilians that a female was shot on the 27XX block of Kensington Avenue, in the 24th District. A female in her 20’s suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and back. Police transported the female to Temple University Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries at 12:42 a.m. The scene was secured, no arrest at this time, and no weapon recovered.

Upon arrival, smoke was observed coming from the garage and interior of the house. Firefighters rescued a male and female from the residence and attended to their medical needs.
